2002 Benefit Show...

Montreal, 5 June 2002.  The members of the Board of Directors of the Marie-Vincent Foundation are pleased to announce that its fund-raising gala held last 6 May at the Monument National brought in net profits of more than $162,000. The sum will be invested in prevention and treatment programs for cases of abuse and violence aimed at children, as well as in the project to set up a centre of expertise for the treatment of sexually abused children.

Before the artist Natasha came on stage, the following dignitaries each, in turn, stepped up to greet a full house:  Mr. François Morency, comedian and spokesman for the Foundation; Mr. Jean Saint-Onge, Partner with Lavery, De Billy, and President of the Foundation; the Honourary Presidents of the event, Mr. Michel Carter, President of TQS Inc. with his wife, Mrs. Danielle Carter.
