The J. Armand Bombardier Foundation donates $50,000 to the Marie-Vincent Foundation
Montreal, 8 May 2008 - The J. Armand Bombardier Foundation has donated $50,000 to the Marie-Vincent Foundation for the development of the Centre d’expertise en agression sexuelle Marie-Vincent.
Nicole Beaudoin, governor of the J. Armand Bombardier Foundation, points out that this donation to the Marie-Vincent Foundation will support the professionally sound care and services that the Centre d’expertise offers young victims and their families. The Foundation’s mission is to restore to these children the prospect of an adult life untarnished by the mistreatment they have experienced.
Inaugurated in 2005, the Centre d’expertise en agression sexuelle Marie-Vincent houses, under one roof, specialized services, researchers, experts, and helps from various sectors—all working together in an environment especially adapted to the needs of abused children and their families.
The Marie Vincent Foundation is grateful to the Bombardier Foundation for this support which allows it to pursue its work with mistreated and, more specifically, sexually abused children here in Québec.
