The Marie-Vincent Foundation respects your right to privacy

When you make a donation to the Marie-Vincent Foundation, you are entrusting us with very important financial and personal information and we understand your concerns about privacy issues on the Internet. By "personal information", we mean any information about an identifiable individual, whether it concerns your email address, where you live, etc. We feel that it is your right to be able to make a donation in a safe and secure environment. You also have the right to know how the Marie-Vincent Foundation will use your personal information. However, unless a donor refuses to give his or her consent, only their name and postal address might be shared or traded with other non-profit organizations. If you do not wish to have this information shared or traded, please check the appropriate box at the bottom of the donation form.

Online security policy

Your privacy and security is important to the Marie-Vincent Foundation. We work carefully to ensure that your personal information is kept safe and secure throughout the transaction process. Our site is built on one of the most respected web application platforms available, and is protected against unauthorized activity by robust hardware and software security systems. This allows you to send and receive information without the worry of having that sensitive data (such as your credit card or home address) intercepted by anyone. You know that the page you are viewing is secure when your browser displays a 'closed lock' or other security symbol. Only the Marie-Vincent Foundation will have access to your personal information. We may check your address in order to send a thank-you message or to keep you informed about how your donation is being used. All of this information is contained within a secure section of the site.
