Objectives:

Describe the trajectory of children in the services.
Identify factors influencing practices and decisions which occur when taking custody of children.
Determine the effects of these practices on the children and their families.
Some practices are of special interest, namely child placement, transfer of child custody to the youth protection office, judiciarization of custodial transfer measures by protection services and criminalization of situations.
