The Marie-Vincent Interuniversity Chair on childhood sexual abuse was instituted in May 2005. It ensures the research activities of the Centre d’expertise en agression sexuelle Marie-Vincent. The purpose of the Chair is to develop Quebec expertise in the detection and treatment of childhood sexual abuse, while stressing the actual needs of children and families receiving services at the Centre. The Chair is based within the Université de Sherbrooke in cooperation with the Université de Montréal  and the Université du Québec à Montréal.
