Fundraising campaign

A word from Claude Mongeau, Honorary President, 2011 Fundraising Campaign

Claude MongeauAs a father myself, I feel boundless affection for children and would like all children to be happy. The reality, however, is different. That is why I agreed to chair the 2011 fundraising campaign at the Marie-Vincent Foundation – also because I have seen for myself the Foundation’s remarkable work in support of young victims of maltreatment. With help from qualified, responsive, and dedicated specialists at Centre d’expertise Marie-Vincent, children, who have suffered abuse and face the risk of lifelong trauma, are able to regain their confidence and get back on the path to healthy development.

Currently, there are children who are awaiting help from Centre d’expertise Marie-Vincent. And there are yet other children who need assistance from the projects and agencies that the Marie-Vincent Foundation supports. By contributing to the 2011 fundraising campaign, you help to provide a better future for our children.

I am appealing to the generosity of my peers in the business world and the general public to make a real difference for young victims of maltreatment and help us achieve our goal of $1.3 million. Together, let us say yes to childhood and no to violence.
