A word from the President

Dear friends, The Marie-Vincent Foundation is celebrating its 35th anniversary of existence this year!  Thirty-five years of determination, passion and engagement towards building this most valued resource for the wellbeing of child victims of maltreatment.

The public’s extraordinary support combined to the business community’s inestimable involvement in the past years have provided  for great motivation in pursuing our mission in helping children victim of maltreatment all over Québec.   It is also with the same incentive that we have encouraged the Centre d’expertise Marie-Vincent to develop new programs benefiting its clientele.

Considered to be a major turnaround in social services here in Québec, the Centre d’expertise Marie-Vincent is unique for it offers state of the art services for child victims of sexual abuse in both official languages throughout the province.

In the same way, the Chaire inter-universitaire Marie-Vincent sur les agressions sexuelles envers les enfants is indispensable, for its main purpose is to measure the quality of interventions and insure the development of tools and best practices in the field.  Understandably, this synergy is most essential in bettering services rendered to the Centre d’expertise’s young clientele.

After 35 years, the passion lives on and allows us, more than ever, to count on the engagement of businesswomen and businessmen sensitive to our cause, children victim of maltreatment.  Their devotion and generosity allow us to grow a little each day.

After all, our children are tomorrow’s adults and they deserve every bit of our devotion towards the Foundation. Together we can truly make a difference in providing for a brighter future.

Many thanks for, without you, we could never make it!
