Foundation

A word from the President

Jean-Saint-OngeDear friends | The Marie-Vincent Foundation is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. Thirty-five years of determination, passion and and commitment to build a crucial resource devoted to the well-being of children throughout Quebec who are victims of maltreatment.

Outstanding support from the general public and the business community in recent years has motivated us to pursue our mission to help children across Quebec who are subjected to mistreatment and to develop new programs for children at Centre d’expertise Marie-Vincent.

Centre d’expertise Marie-Vincent represents a major innovation in Quebec’s social landscape; it offers state-ofthe-art services in French and English to children who have been sexually abused.

The Chaire interuniversitaire Marie-Vincent sur les agressions sexuelles envers les enfants is also an indispensable resource: it gauges the quality of services provided to children and ensures that tools are developed and best practices implemented. This synergy is key to enhancing the services that children receive at Centre d’expertise Marie-Vincent.

After 35 years of passionate service, the Foundation is able to rely on the commitment of men and women who are devoted to our cause of helping children who are maltreated. Thanks to their dedication and generosity, we continue to grow every day.

Our children, after all, are the adults of tomorrow and deserve our efforts to make a difference.

Thank you ! Without your support, none of this would be possible !
